This type of insurance will help you recoup your costs incurred due to loss of your baggage during the flight.

What has happened?

 You had checked your baggage in when boarding, but afterwards did not find your suitcase or favorite bag on the luggage band?

If you buy a baggage  insurance policy from London Almaty Insurance Company, we will indemnify for the loss in the amount of USD 3,000 if you fly by economy class, and USD 5,000 if you fly by business class.

How much is an insurance policy?

The cost of an insurance policy is calculated depending on the class of your flight (business or economy) with the applicable tariff rate of 1.44%*

* the tariff may be changed depending on the country you visit.

Sample calculation of insurance policy cost: USD 3,000 * 1.44% = USD 43.2

How to receive the indemnity?

To receive the indemnity if the baggage has been lost:

1. write an application (within 3 business days to London-Almaty Insurance Company as from the date of the event insured)*
2.  provide your air tickets and baggage labels;
3. provide an application from the Insured addressed to the air company where your baggage was lost;
4. provide other documents pursuant to your Insurance Agreement.

 * If you are not in Kazakhstan at the moment, you shall notify us by any means of communication, for instance by fax.
